Who we are
"The Tube Factory" was established in June 1942 when the Norwegian inventor Mr. Ringdal filed a patent for paper tubes. In 1947, the factory entered production of metal tubes and in 1967 we installed the first fully automated production line for this purpose.
In 2007 our product portfolio was greatly expanded through the acquisition of the Norwegian company Johs. Myhre AS. Johs. Myhre has developed and manufactured injection moulded plastic products since 1956, and the merger enabled us to offer a more complete service. Today we can design and produce almost any type of injection moulded product in tube caps, flip-top caps, capsules, lids, small/medium sized containers, spice grinders and technical products for the electronic industry.
Norway Pack's vision is to be the preferred supplier of laminate tubes, caps, containers and technical products to small and medium sized outlets in Europe, by offering a high level of production quality, production flexibility and service.
We like to think that our customers experience our service as outstanding. Norway Pack shows a genuine interest to serve, and will make all efforts possible to fulfill any requirement by our customers. As a customer, you will find that your "close to market" position is made a lot easier through our efforts to comply with sudden rising or changing needs in your market.
Export has always been an important part of our business, and we export more than 65 % of our total business. Although our traditional home market is the Nordic countries, where we are the market leader, our main market is the European countries outside of Scandinavia.
At present, our main market is within the dental sector, but we are experiencing extensive growth in the food product and pharmaceutical markets.
